  • 1 pound white tiger shrimp
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar-based sauce instead of Worcestershire
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Juice from ½ lemon
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon sriracha hot sauce
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons parsley (chopped)

Instructions

  1. Peel and devein the shrimp.
  2. In an oven-safe skillet, combine butter, olive oil, sweet chili sauce, vinegar-based sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and spices over medium heat. Simmer for 5-10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and toss shrimp in the sauce until well-coated.
  4. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F. Bake shrimp uncovered for 10-15 minutes until pink and opaque.
  6. Serve immediately with crusty bread or rice.
