  • 3 tablespoons gochujang paste

  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together ketchup, gochujang, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, water, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, cornstarch, and sesame oil to create the sauce.
  2. In a large shallow bowl, combine cornstarch, flour, salt, and black pepper. Dip chicken pieces into beaten eggs and then coat with the cornstarch mixture.
  3. Heat canola oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.
