  • 1 pound flank steak (thinly sliced against the grain)
  • 1 pound shrimp (peeled and deveined)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper (sliced)
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 carrot (julienned)
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon ginger (minced)
  • 2 green onions (chopped)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate flank steak in a bowl with soy sauce and cornstarch until well-coated.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat until hot.
  3. Add marinated flank steak in a single layer; sear for 2-3 minutes until browned but not fully cooked.
  4. Toss in shrimp, bell pepper, broccoli, carrot, garlic, and ginger. Stir to combine.
  5. Cook for another 3-5 minutes until shrimp is pink and opaque and vegetables are crisp-tender.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
