  • 1215 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cups fresh spinach (chopped) or 1 cup frozen spinach (thawed and drained)
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta shells according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and rinse under cold water.
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, spinach, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Stuff each shell with the ricotta mixture and place seam-side up in a baking dish coated with marinara sauce.
  4. Pour remaining sauce over the shells and sprinkle with remaining mozzarella.
  5. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for about 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 5 minutes until golden.
