  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1/3 cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper (to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for frying)
  • 1 medium onion (sliced or chopped)
  • 8 ounces cremini mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 3/4 cups beef broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, breadcrumbs, onion powder, salt, and pepper until combined. Shape into four oval patties.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms until softened (7-9 minutes).
  4. Add butter to the skillet; once melted, stir in flour for 1-2 minutes. Gradually whisk in beef broth until smooth to form gravy.
  5. Stir in Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder; return patties to the skillet. Simmer for an additional 5-7 minutes until heated through.
