  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 11×7 pan with foil or spray it with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, cream softened butter with dark brown and white sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and cinnamon.
  5. Fold in chopped apples gently until evenly incorporated.
  6. Spread the batter into the prepared pan and bake for approximately 25 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. While cooling slightly, prepare the maple glaze by combining brown sugar, butter, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a saucepan over low heat until melted; stir in powdered sugar and maple syrup.
