  • Salt/Pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 10.5 oz. cream of chicken soup
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • ½ teaspoon mustard powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • Fresh Parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown and fully cooked (about 6-7 minutes per side). Remove from skillet.
  2. In the same skillet, add flour to absorb flavors, then gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth. Stir in cream of chicken soup, sour cream, lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder, basil, oregano, mustard powder, and dried parsley. Simmer until thickened.
  3. Return cooked chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. Serve hot with your choice of sides and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
