  • 1/3 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1/4 cup onion (finely chopped)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Olive oil for cooking
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber (grated and drained)
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, onion, parsley, oregano, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Form small meatballs (1-2 inches) using wet hands to prevent sticking.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook meatballs in batches until golden brown and fully cooked (about 10-12 minutes).
