  • 16 cups dry bread cubes (about 3 large loaves)
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups onion (diced)
  • 2 cups celery (diced)
  • 3 teaspoons poultry seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh or dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh or dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 ¼ cups chicken broth
  • 2 large eggs
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the bread by cutting it into cubes and allowing it to dry out.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter and sauté onions and celery until soft.
