  • 2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 ¾ cups chicken broth
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 4 cloves garlic (minced)
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Olive oil, salt, pepper
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • ½ chicken bouillon cube
  • ½ teaspoon EACH: onion powder, oregano, basil, parsley
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 12 tablespoons apple vinegar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing chicken broth, heavy cream, Worcestershire sauce, mustard powder, honey, bouillon cube, and herbs in a large measuring cup.
  2. Slice chicken breasts in half lengthwise and pound to about ½ inch thick. Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add apple vinegar and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant. Stir in butter and flour to create a roux.
  5. Gradually add the prepared sauce mixture while stirring continuously until thickened. Incorporate Parmesan cheese and lemon juice.
  6. Return the chicken to the skillet; spoon sauce over it and heat through for about five minutes.
