Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 lb potato gnocchi
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken pieces, season with salt, pepper, and Italian herbs, then cook until golden brown (about 6-8 minutes). Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  4. Add gnocchi to the skillet and simmer gently for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low and stir in heavy cream; simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  6. Return cooked chicken to the skillet along with Parmesan cheese; stir until heated through and cheese is melted.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary; garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
