Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless skinless salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup plain flour
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter (divided)
  • 2 cloves garlic (finely diced)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable stock
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a shallow dish, mix flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Coat each salmon fillet in the mixture and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Sear the coated salmon fillets for about 3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  3. Remove cooked salmon from the pan and reduce heat to medium. Add diced garlic to the pan and sauté until fragrant. Pour in vegetable stock and whisk in the remaining butter.
  4. Return salmon to the pan, basting with the sauce until warmed through. Serve immediately with lemon wedges.
