  • 1 cup granulated sugar

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3.9 oz instant vanilla pudding
  • 1 ½ cups cold milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Assorted fresh fruits (berries, peaches, kiwis, bananas, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until creamy. Add the egg, vanilla extract, and almond extract; mix until combined.
  3. Gradually add flour and baking powder to form a dough.
  4. Press the dough evenly into a prepared half sheet pan and bake for about 12 minutes until golden. Allow it to cool completely.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together instant pudding mix and cold milk until thickened. Fold in whipped cream until smooth.
  6. Spread the creamy topping over the cooled crust and arrange your choice of fresh fruits on top.
