  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/4 cup salted butter (softened)
  • 3 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting towel)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a jelly roll pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Mix in pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined. Pour into the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. Immediately invert onto a powdered-sugar-dusted towel and roll while warm. Let cool completely.
  7. Beat cream cheese, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, salt, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  8. Unroll the cooled cake and spread frosting evenly before re-rolling without the towel.
