Instructions

  1. Season chicken thighs with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear the chicken until golden brown on both sides.
  3. Remove the chicken; sauté chopped onion and minced garlic in the same skillet.
  4. Stir in rinsed rice and ground cumin; toast for one minute.
