  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Layer three noodles over the sauce followed by half of the ricotta mixture, half of the beef, and a sprinkle of mozzarella. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
  6. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Allow cooling for about 10 minutes before slicing.
