  • 3 cans (14.5 oz each) diced potatoes (drained)
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ can cheddar cream soup
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup chopped onions
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. 1. Spray the slow cooker liner with non-stick spray.
  2. 2. Drain the canned potatoes completely to avoid excess moisture.
  3. 3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, drained potatoes, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.
  4. 4. Add sliced kielbasa, chopped onions, heavy whipping cream, chicken broth, and shredded cheese; mix well.
  5. 5. Incorporate half a can of cheddar cream soup until blended.
  6. 6. Cover and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 5-6 hours until potatoes are soft.
  7. 7. For thicker consistency, add a cornstarch slurry an hour before cooking ends.
