  • 10 ounces uncooked pasta
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 medium boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ¾ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Zest and juice from one lemon
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1½ teaspoons Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, then cook for 6-8 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and let rest before slicing.
