  • 1 sheet puff pastry (17.3 ounces/490g), thawed
  • 1 wheel brie cheese (8 ounces/227g), chilled
  • ½ cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1 large egg (for egg wash)
  • 1 tablespoon water (for egg wash)
  • Optional: ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts, toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the chilled brie into 24 small cubes and keep cool.
  3. Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a floured surface to smooth seams, then cut into 24 squares.
  4. Press each square into a mini muffin tin cup or onto the lined baking sheet.
  5. Place one cube of brie in each pastry square, followed by a teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top.
  6. For an egg wash, whisk together the egg and water, then brush over exposed pastry edges.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
