  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Bean Paste (or 1 Vanilla Bean Scraped)
  • 3 1/2 cups (470 grams) Unbleached All Purpose Flour

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together room-temperature unsalted butter, organic cane sugar, and confectioners sugar until fluffy.
  2. Mix in sea salt, vanilla extract, and vanilla bean paste.
  3. Gradually add unbleached all-purpose flour while mixing on low speed until combined.
  4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least two hours.
  5. Roll out chilled dough to half an inch thick and cut into desired shapes.
  6. Place on prepared baking sheets and bake at 350°F (175°C) until lightly golden around the edges.
  7. Cool on wire racks before serving.
