  • ⅔ cup ice-cold water
  • 1½ cups apple butter
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ¼ cup dark brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla paste or extract
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust by cutting cold butter into small cubes and mixing it with flour and salt in a food processor. Gradually add ice-cold water until just combined.
  2. Chill the dough for 1-2 hours, then roll out to fit your pie dish.
  3. Par-bake the crust at 375°F for about 20 minutes until golden.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together apple butter, eggs, brown sugar, flour, vanilla, and condensed milk until smooth.
